Nigerian Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy joined Colombian superstar Shakira to perform Dai Dai, the official 2026 FIFA World Cup theme song. The track blends Afrobeats and Latin rhythms, reflecting the tournament’s global appeal and cultural diversity.

South African sensation Tyla also delivered a memorable moment, performing South Africa’s national anthem before a packed stadium ahead of the opening fixture. Mexican music icon Alejandro Fernández performed the host nation’s anthem, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The ceremony showcased an international lineup of artists, including renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, South Korean-American singer EJAE, and French DJ David Guetta.
