Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau teams up with American R&B star Chlöe and British-Jamaican DJ and producer Skyla Tylaa on Makuhia, released August 28.

3. ‘ZERO’ — Alewya

British-Egyptian-Ethiopian artist Alewya showcases her multicultural musical identity on her debut album, ZERO.

Released in June, the 15-track album moves between electronic music and alternative soul while drawing inspiration from Alewya’s African and Middle Eastern heritage.

The project represents a significant milestone for an artist whose work frequently crosses cultural and genre boundaries.

4. ‘The Price of Becoming’ — Amerado

Ghanaian rapper Amerado joined the late-August release schedule with The Price of Becoming, an eight-track EP released on August 28.

The project combines rap and hip-hop with broader Ghanaian musical influences, continuing Amerado’s exploration of contemporary hip-hop through a distinctly Ghanaian perspective.

The EP provides another showcase for the rapper’s storytelling and evolving sound.

5. ‘Impatient / You Never Know’ — Zakes Bantwini

South African musician and producer Zakes Bantwini rounds out the latest releases with Impatient / You Never Know.
